This is a single hand-made stoneware tile, framed in wood. The tile is approximately
fourteen centimetres square, and I usually mount them in a simple frame about three centimetres wide. These tiles, with their miniature scenery in appliqué (three-dimensional relief), have proved very popular. They are original ornaments, easily hung on walls without taking up too much space. Larger sets of tiles can be produced on request, either to similar designs, or to your own. |

These tiles were based on holiday snaps from Durness, in the far north of Scotland. They are hand-painted on ordinary white wall tiles. Each one is unique, as I only make them to people's requests. They can be framed, as here, or adapted for bathroom or kitchen walls. |

The six tiles on the right were done as part of a special commission of several different pictures, each of a different place. This one is of Crail harbour in Fife, on the east coast of Scotland. |

As well as producing tiles with images like these, I also design more general patterns, for decorating walls, or anywhere else you can think of putting tiles. For example, the following two pictures show fireplace surrounds, made to order.
