La poterie de Marianne

Un pot

This page describes my pottery - both where I do it, and what it's like. I'm gradually building up a collection of images, which I'll be adding here, partly so that you can see my work, and partly because it's fun.

If you're interested in ordering from my current work, have a look at my brochure. Or if you would like to see the real thing, you can find my pots at one of these places.

While I'm from France originally, I now live in Stow, in the Scottish Borders. My pottery is in a howff, which used to be the village working men's club. It was semi-derelict when we found it, but we are gradually patching it up - at least it no longer rains inside (well, not much). I use a hand-made wheel, which you can find out more about here.

I am a member of a craft co-operative. We have a
shop in Melrose.

Un bijou As well as pots, I make porcelain jewellery. I am particularly fond of Celtic designs, which I engrave and colour in earrings, brooches, pendants, etc.

I also produce hand-made stoneware tiles - click here to see an example, together with some hand-painted wall tiles, or here to see one of my favourite panels.

If you're interested in anything you see, you can get in touch by emailing me at Marianne@MariannesPottery.co.uk , or by visiting the
shop. I will be happy to provide prices, or any other details.
